on healthcare.gov this morning, you will find yourself waiting in a queue. they do now, as part of their technical fix, have a queueing system that will hold your place in line and get back to you. nonetheless, the site overwhelmed as we entered the peak pertain for people who want to enroll before january 1st. at this clinic in philadelphia, the queue clinic, hakeem has been helping people sign up. he says it is night and day on the site. over the last few days, he says, it's been very smooth and he's been able to help people sign up online start to finish and for a time has felt like he's making progress. >> it tax like two minutes to get the results. this is what ear eligible for, would you like to enroll, and choosing a pair, some plans and premiums. it works very well now. so it's exciting that people can come in and in like, half an hour, find insurance. it's rewarting. >> a sort familiar with the situation says in fact over the last month about 100,000 people have been able to select plans on the troubled healthcare.gov, as they've made improvements. add that to the 231,0

through healthcare.gov. now it turns out you may not have the insurance you thought you had. about one in four of the people in october and november who signed up aren't going get insurance, because of errors with the website. either the insurance companies weren't notified, the money wasn't sent, the connection wasn't made. the worst part, you may not know. the federal government has not notified those people if they do not have insurance. >> you have until december 23rd, of course, to actually enroll. the point, come january 1st if you thought your registration went through the process, january 1st got the new coverage, turns out because of the errors you might not be enrolled at all. 1 in 4, corrected? that was 1 out of every 10 folks according to a new report this morning, one out of ten people who signed up through the website lieutenant have have errors involved. overall 25 perce% have errors a may not have coverage. >> and claiming victory, setting their bar so low at 80% of a success rate, that there you go. the problems are with these so-called 834 forms, which has your person

of healthcare.gov. so i think there's also some of that, as well. on that front, we should point out in the last hour, a source familiar with the enrollment numbers for the affordable care act confirmed to cnn they have enrolled about 29,000 people in the first two days since the website was deemed to be working for the vast majority of americans. so since december 1st, the first two days, 29,000 people enrolled more than the entire month of october. so people inside the administration are starting to feel more confident about that, and as you heard, at the tail end of the president's remarks in the speech here in washington, he went after republicans on obama care challenging them on these ideas of repeal and saying that republicans owe it to the american people to tell them what they're for when it comes to health care reform, not just being against the affordable care act. a couple things going on in the president's speech, rallying the base, also going after republicans laying markers down for the budget battles to come. >> that issue is becoming more and more talked about, income inequality
